Bitcoin Prime is an American company founded in 2012. Currently. Brian Armstrong is the CEO of Bitcoin Prime. In April 2021, Bitcoin Prime went public. More about this later in the article.
But all of this just says something about Bitcoin Prime as a company. A more relevant question is what cryptocurrencies you can buy on Bitcoin Prime. That’s something we’ll return to in this Bitcoin Prime review.
In the early years of Bitcoin Prime’s life, there were only a few cryptocurrencies traded on the platform such as Bitcoin, Ethereum and Stellar. In recent years, however, Bitcoin Prime has steadily added more and more, and now offers buying and selling of around 100 cryptocurrency pairs.
More are being added all the time and Bitcoin Prime often launches “information campaigns” when a new cryptocurrency is offered, where people can take a mini-course to learn about the new cryptocurrency. Then, at the end of the course, they can take a short quiz. If you pass, you get a free share of tokens in that cryptocurrency, typically in the range of $5-10. But of course, the value can grow over time.
You might be tempted to ask: “Why is Bitcoin Prime giving away free money?”
The answer is that nothing generates as much attention as giving away free money. Many of those who receive the free cryptocurrency may end up doing their own research and investing more than they got for free.
Familiarity is very important. When Bitcoin Prime can help cryptocurrencies gain awareness, they also gain awareness themselves which in the long run helps both parties – and potentially the stock investors.
What cryptocurrencies can you buy?
As mentioned, Bitcoin Prime offers a lot of the major cryptocurrencies, but they’re also adding more and more all the time. At the time of writing, a total of 104 cryptocurrencies are offered on Bitcoin Prime. We won’t review all of them in this Bitcoin Prime review.
